".....Elephants are much larger in the wild
and er, in person...And baboons are much scarier when
riled up and not behind a cage. Long story short, Joe,
another guy, and I were all surrounde by baboons
outside of our rooms at the motel without our keys at
hand. I got some good videos of it, and I must admit
it's pretty hilarious to watch it now after the fact.
One of the smaller creatures stole my shirt and ran
off down the hill with it. I figured it was gone but,
ah ha!, five of the local boys came charging in with
sticks from the western promenade of our building,
scattering the baboons with ferocious yells of
something in the Dagbani tongue.
No sooner had Joe mentioned that my shirt had been
blatantly stolen were all five of the 10-13 year olds
running down the hill seeking to return my shirt.
Fifteen minutes later, in what I can only describe as
miraculous search and rescue ability, my shirt was
returned. I tipped the boys nicely."

highlight dancing with one of the loves of my life that i have talked to maybe once in my life.ahhhhhhhhhhhhh! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH [[breathe]]AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!! it makes me grin wildly just thinking about it!!! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH AHHHH! and seeing little miss beautiful amy hearrrrd
potential disaster i got all the way to bekahs sisters to get ready and realized id forgotten my diffuser. couldve been a curly hair explosion. i was able to get it mildly under control at least
point of amusment conversation while dancing with a certain probably not fully there someone: "do you have curly hair?" "um..yes. yes i do." HAHAHAHAHAAH
couldve done without lame dj and college scholarship interview the next morning
missed danaaaaa :(

so at the y its a few women, old people, boys, and me. suddenly this OTHER teenage girl has started coming and i just wanna be like UM EXCUSE ME PLEASE GET OUT AND FIND YOUR OWN A FEW WOMAN OLD PEOPLE AND BOYS!! and shes really pretty and nice which makes me all the MORE furious!! get out of here with your wimpy work out and SHAVED LEGS!

diving was just great tonight. i worked a lot on my three meter list which is usually pretty not fun but idk today my dives just seemed a lot more in control for once in my life. felt gooood. AND
i did a backflip off three meeterrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
